I attended ROH in Dayton last night. I don't have time for a full blown update. It was extremely hot in the building. The fans pooped all over the finish to the Adam Pearce versus Nigel McGuinness match. ROH used to do things that set them apart from other indy promotions. Last night, ROH looked like just another indy with crap promos, interference, and horribly pedictable finishes. I was disappointed.
Ultimate Muscle is still getting alot of play around the Omega household. This is the closest I am going to get to a ring for awhile. Really, as much as I would like to climb in the ring again, I don't know if or when it will happen. There is too much going on.
MO (Mini-Omega) and I watched Speed Racer over the weekend. It is bizarre. I found myself relating more to Pops Racer than Speed. I am no longer the person having crazy and exciting adventures. I am the Dad of the kid who is having crazy adventures.
This morning, MO started football camp. The high school head coach contacted me and asked if I feed the boy pure sugar. He was deemed the highest energy boy at the camp. The coach suggested that MO workout in the morning prior to camp. I can't help but laugh. I only hope and pray MO stays so fueled and driven.
Tonight, the boy will run a 5K in ankle and knee deep water/mud. We will hose him off before bed. Then, tomorrow morning he will be back at football camp.
