This spring, I have been busy coaching junior high track. I am working primarily with the hurdlers and throwers. Track is the first activity many of these kids have been involved with. They have come a long way in a short time.
I have added a Twitter feed to the page. I have not updated frequently in the past couple of years. I continue to struggle with whether it serves a purpose to keep this site up and running. Years ago, when I was an active wrestler, this site was great for advertising/marketing. Now, it is a very weak blog of sorts with no particular direction. Sorry.
I can update Twitter from my phone or Kindle. Perhaps the ease of updating will cause me to update more. If not, it will disappear and never be discussed again.

Ok. I can't resist. This is just too funny. My Bro passed along one of the funniest videos ever. Click here. That is just awesome.

My family (5 of us) ate all 6 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) together this weekend. We made all 6 of those meals at home. I honestly have no clue the last time that we have all been together and not been running all over and living out of the car during the weekend. I cannot recall the last time that we didn't go out to eat on a weekend. When I was a kid, we went out to eat once every two weeks when my Dad got paid. All other meals were eaten at home. Times have certainly changed.

Last week was nice. Spring break was good. It was great to have a whole week hanging out with my kids. We slept in, watched movies, and worked out.
This past week has been rough. We had a track meet on Monday. School resumed on Tuesday. Big meeting on Wednesday. Track meet on Thursday. Weak workout on Friday. Today, it has rained all day. We have stayed in the house watching TV, Netflix, and playing video games. The kids new favorite cartoon is Johnny Test.

I took my kids to go see the Disney film; Mirror, Mirror. The 5-year-old twins fully enjoyed themselves. The 13-year-old enjoyed the battle scenes. I was moderately entertained. Of the movies I have seen so far this year... Mirror, Mirror was better than... Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. I did not like Episode 1, at all.
