After about 10-hours of work over the weekend, my gym is complete! Well, we are finished painting. All equipment is in place. We can finally start hanging pictures and what-not.

BNL was good as always. Alanis was... disappointing. Nelly McKay was... different.

This past weekend the Sizzle provided pre-game and half-time entertainment at a Louisville Fire versus Columbus (Georgia) Warhogs arena football game. This marked the end of the season for the Sizzle. No more practice. I will take a couple of weeks to recharge before committing to anything major. I need a break.

On Friday, I watched Will Ferrell in "Anchorman". I thought it was okay. I don't think it was nearly as good as "Old School". On Sunday, I watched Tom Hanks in "The Terminal". I thought it was decent. Tom Hanks has an amazing range.

On Wednesday, I head to the Barenaked Ladies and Alanis Morrisette concert. This will probably be my only concert of the summer. I can't wait.

June was a busy month - be sure to check the archive. Have a fun and safe holiday weekend!

Well, there is no end in sight. I was initially told that football would wrap for the season at the end of June. June has come and gone. There will be an exhibition in Kentucky next weekend. There is also a strong chance there will be another scrimmage in early August. So, now... maybe the madness ends after next weekends exhibition? Maybe it continues until mid August? Who knows. A lot of people are starting to get beat up and burned out. I think more than anything the team needs a break.

Wrestling will continue to be on hold until football ends. Even then, I will need some time. I am mentally and physically fried. I went straight from my football season to wrestling to another football (coaching) season. I never took a break. That is really biting me in the butt right now.
