This video (click here) is hilarious. The U.S. Government now dictates which auto plants stay open, what models are manufactured, and who oversees the board of directors. Welcome to socialism! This is not generally a political blog. I will just say socialism and communism (historically) fail 100% of the time.

Click here to read a recap of my time with Cyrus, Tommy, Damien, and Oprah. I have photos of Cyrus and Chill in their He-Man and Orca wrestling gear. Good times.

Andrew Martin aka "Test" of WWE fame was found dead in his Florida home. Click here for the official story. This death hits home for me. I turned 34-years-old two weeks ago. Test was set to turn 34 in the next few days. To the best of my knowledge, he never married and had no children. Sadly, he is just another pro-wrestler who died before the age of 50.

Well, Splash N Dash #3 is in the books. My worst fears are being realized now. Ten year old, Cie thrashed me. In the first two races, I stayed with him during the swim and he dusted me in the run. Today, he dusted me in the 1,000 swim and then again in the 3.1 mile run. Cie swam 1,000 yards in 25:55. I finished the swim in just under 30-minutes.

I never saw him during the 5k. One of the talented swimmers/runners approached me after the race. He said that he ran with Cie for about a half-mile. Cie was midway through the second loop at the time. He said they were running a 7:30-mile pace. What the fudge? Cie was on his second loop and could still run a 7:30 pace?

By the way, my knee is killing me.

birthday Fatigue is setting in. Holy smokes, I am tired. The workouts are kicking my butt. On Monday, we had a rough leg day. I sent the text message to a friend that simply read, "if it hits the ground it is gone." If I dropped a comb on the ground, it would just have to stay there because I was too sore to pick it up. The soreness in my legs finally left on Friday, for the most part.

On Wednesday, we did cardio. We rode recumbent bikes for an hour. We had hope that the bike work would relieve some of the pain in our legs. Sadly, it did not.

On Thursday, we lifted chest. There was a lot of upper body agility work and dips. Dips are a great equalizer. You have to lift your own weight. The heavier you are, the more you have to work to do a dip. Sadly, one of the guys, Clancy, has like 10" arms. He only has to bend his arms like 2" and he has completed a rep. Those stubby little arms help him on chest day. I digress.

On Friday morning, we lifted back and shoulders. We did 12 sets of pull-ups. Pull-ups are a great equalizer. The bigger you are the more weight you have to lift. Pull-ups are even hard for guys that have 10" arms.

Now, it is Saturday morning, I sit in my pajamas, exhausted at the computer. I am really tired. My twin daughters were up by 6:00 am. I am really tired. My chest is tight. I am really tired. My back is sore. I am really tired.

Tomorrow morning, the boy and I have Splash N Dash, round three. While most folks are in bed, we will be completing a 1,000-yard swim and a 3.1-mile run. At least the weather is supposed to be nice.

Much like Runt from the movie, Chicken Little, "I will survive?"
