CRFL Championship Game
The Central Ohio Lions advanced in the CRFL playoffs. The Championship game is this Saturday, October 25th in Fairborn Ohio. This game is the culmination of several months of hard work. I am anxious for Saturday evening to arrive.

Wrestling has been on the back burner for awhile now. Football is nearing its end. As such, I will return to the ring, at least in a limited capacity. I doubt I will wrestle more than 3 or 4 matches per month.

Thursday November 13th - IWA Night of Champions - Chillicothe Ohio! I wrestle "The King" Randy Allen. I have never wrestled Randy before. I really don't know what to expect. I am busting tail to improve my cardio endurance. There are several big matches scheduled for the "Night of Champions". I expect Aaron Andrews, Tony Galloway, Super Hugo to deliver a lights-out-holy-crap type of match. They could very well end up stealing the show. "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff will face the Patriot. The old-school fans will eat this up. It is going to be very challenging to deliver a memorable match on such a big night.

There has been some recent discussion about putting the "fun" back in "FUNdamentals". No, "The Fraternity" is not reforming. Zach Avery is doing well on his own.

I really enjoy tag team wrestling. Some of my favorite matches over the past 4 years have been tag team matches. Al B. Damm and Mark Mattis vs. Shank Dorsey and Dale Johnson were a lot of fun.

I still remember wrestling a 3-way bout in northern Ohio (probably 3 years ago) that featured, Shank, Dale, and myself. Shank and Dale double-teamed me the entire match. They groped me. They fondled me. They angered the fans. A drunken fan left his seat and hopped up on the apron. A couple of his buddies had to hold him back. After about 15-minutes of getting my butt thoroughly kicked, Shank and Dale went for a double suplex, I flipped over the top, landed on my feet and placed them in a double half-nelson. They both shrieked like little girls and tapped out. The crowd went nuts. I released the hold, dropped to the mat, rolled out of the ring, and fled to the dressing room as fans greeted my big smiles and high-fives.

I want to get back to having fun. I want to enjoy wrestling.

Well, where to begin? There has not been much to report as of late.

1. The weekly IWA cards at the City Limits Cafe are no more.
2. I rode in a cramped pickup truck for 4 hours to get to our football game in Kentucky only to find out the home team was going to forfeit.
3. Home improvements are destroying my work out schedule
4. NCAA 2004 for ps2 is the mother f'ing B.O.M.B.

False Advertising? The South Bend Stampede imploded on Saturday. No other way to say it. They got crushed. The score was 31 - 6 at half time. The final score was 45 - 6. Our back ups played almost the entire second half. I am sure the Stampede are a good team. But, things did NOT work out in their favor on Saturday.

Click here for my latest commentary. Wrestling this past weekend was fun. The match was... eehhh... but, oh well. It will get better. I have a huge football game this weekend out of state... ugh... how I miss long road trips...
