This is the story of Faberville's very first Thanksgiving as told by 5-year-old Steel Mattis.
The story is presented using cutting technology patented by Faberville. Introducing, crap-mation!
Crap-mation is similar to animation only really really crappy. Click here.

I had an excellent weekend, thanks for asking. My wife and I returned to Ohio University to watch our beloved Bobcats battle the Akron Zips. In typical fashion, the Bobcats started like a house of fire. They scored two touchdowns and really looked like they were going to squash the Zips. Then, the Bobcats missed an extra-point. That was the beginning of the end. The home team turned the ball over on back to back plays and had a touchdown called back due to penalty. In the end, the Bobcats jobbed out 31-19. That aside, we had a good time. We toured the athletic facilities. There is a new 10,000 square foot weight room. They have large record board on the wall with names of the strongest players from each sport. The strongest athlete is a d-lineman who can power clean 374 pounds. He weighs 290 pounds. My senior year, my personal best for power clean was 365 pounds. I am still proud of that.
Wrestling news. Hmm, let's see. In August of 2003, I was contacted by the IWA. They asked me if I would be interested in rejoining the IWA roster after my football season concluded. I said I would rejoin the roster on 1 condition - I wanted a shot at the IWA Heavyweight title. The IWA agreed to that stipulation. Fast forward 14 months, the IWA schedule has been sporadic at best. I have beaten everyone in my path. In June, I defeated Freakboy Malloy in a #1 contenders match. Since then, the IWA seems to have forgotten that I exist. Elliot Michaels continues to receive title shot after title shot. Neither Chris (IWA Champion) nor Elliot is what you would call a "fan favorite". Fans don't exactly line up to see these 2 guys go at it. I have not received my title shot. I don't think I ever will. Anyway...
With that in mind, I am done wrestling for the year. I may very well be done with wrestling - period. I do not harbor ill will. I am not bitter. I do not want say "I am retiring." because I think that is a silly. You have to accomplish something before you can retire from it. It was a fun ride; maybe someday I will get in the ring again. But, right now, I have 0 (ZERO) interest in getting in the ring.

I am doing a crappy job of updating. My bad. This weekend is homecoming at Ohio University. We haven't been to Athens in about one and a half years. I am looking forward to this trip. My wife and I are taking a RARE weekend for just us. I can't remember the last time we had a weekend of just her and I.
It might have been a couple of years ago.
Mini-Omega has started training to wrestle. His first match will likely be in late December.
He will be a second generation SoopaSTAR! (Just kidding)
He practices and conditions harder than a lot of "professional" wrestlers. Last night, we went for our second 1.5 mile (he is only 5-years-old) run of the week.
When we finished, Mini-Omega was still feeling saucy so he decided to do some gassers. Earlier this week he did 50 free standing squats and 100 walking lunges with me.
The kid is driven.
Disclaimer: I do not pressure him to do any of this. This is totally his call.

The election is over... or is it? South Park summed it all up pretty well last week with their "vote or die" episode. Speaking of new episodes, a new Faberville is online. Watch as "The Angry Black Man" Damien Kass finds himself in the middle of nowhere and hillbilly Cyrus Poe is in hot pursuit.
