2002.01.14   Positive News Update
A full length column about "the Omega" Mark Mattis is now on 1wrestling.com. Please read the column. Please offer the staff of 1wrestling.com feedback on the column. Let them know that YOU the fans would like to see more coverage of (not just me) up and coming wrestlers around the country.

2002.01.09 I am not a big fan of wrestling during the winter. You never know from one week to the next what kind of weather you will be facing. In as much, the IWA debuted at United Skates of America Sunday evening during the first (locally) heavy snow fall of the year. The best word to sum it all up, depressing.
On the bright side, I wrestled Cyrus Poe in a "dark" match. The beauty of that; we had more time and freedom with our match than those who had to work matches for the TV taping.
I am working on a couple of things right now. I wish I could share the details. Stay tuned, I hope to have some positive news by the end of the month.
tidbit: Many people HATE the new Billy Gunn / Chuck Palumbo gimmick. The name of the game is FAN REACTION. Fans HATE GP. Hate is better than no response at all. For the first time in history, I actually look forward to Billy Gunn promo's and matches.

2002.01.01 The holidays come to a close and I return to the business of pro wrestling. I spent the past several days entertaining a fellow member of the Yardbird Posse.
Many nagging injuries have healed, wohoo. This should be a good month. This Sunday, January 6th, I will be facing Cyrus Poe, one half of the Poe Boys in singles action. I am looking forward to this match. Cyrus and I have never squared off one on one. It should be FANtastic.
