Winter Quarter classes continue to roll on. The quarter is going pretty smoothly thus far. I expect to earn an 'A' in both classes. So, that is good news. On the other hand, it is tough to keep a positive attitude in this weather. The past couple weekends have brought poor weather. We have been trapped inside staring at the walls. I am dreaming of living in a warmer climate.

On Friday, Cyrus Poe and I watched "The Wrestler". The film was really well done. It certainly deserves all of the accolades it receives. As well as the film did portraying the "washed-up star" on the Indy scene, it missed on a few points:
- The shows were packed, most indy shows are lucky to have 100 people in a 500 seat gym.
- After the match, paramedics patch Randy up. I have NEVER seen paramedics at an indy wrestling show.
- Randy bumped and did hardcore. Big-names seldom bump and unless it is their trademark, they are not doing hardcore.

Today, MO called me out. He challenged me to step up and do a race with him next weekend. He challenged me to do a duathlon (swim and run). It is a 1,000 yard swim and a 3.1 mile run. He is starting to scare me. I fear for my life.
To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion.

Happy New Year!
Short update, I have a few new year's resolutions. I don't feel like there is a whole lot in my life that needs to change. I don't need to lose weight or start being nice to so-and-so. I am very happy with my family, friends, work, and school. My resolutions for the new year...
Fitness - Complete a Triathlon with my son
Coaching Football - Win the conference
Strength Coach - Make a difference
Graduate School - Earn an A in 6 classes
