I had a nice weekend. We headed up to Sandusky (Ohio) for our family reunion. We spent some time in the pool on Saturday evening.
We started off Sunday morning with a nice 3-mile run. In the afternoon we were surrounded by 100 relatives. The food was fab as always.
We played the annual oldsters vs. youngsters softball game. I am now considered an oldster. That hurts. The 94 degree temperature combined with 100% humidity hurt worse. It was 8 innings of pure torture. I have the farmer's tan to prove it.
The movie Wedding Crashers was great! Jeremy Madrox and "Todd" are too similar for words.

Thursday evening, I had a great time enjoying wings and beer with "Hardcore" Tommy Chill and Cyrus Poe at Hooters. Bitterness and anger abounded. Enough said.
On Saturday I went to the movies with my wife and son. The Fantastic 4 was... not fantastic. It was decent. The Fantastic 4 was better than The Hulk. But, it was nowhere near Spider-Man. That is just my 2 cents. Sunday, was a mostly relaxing day with a trip to the water park.
This Saturday, I am planning to attend the OCW card in Newark, Ohio. I haven't been to a wrestling card yet this year. I am merely going as a spectator. It will be a good chance to catch up with a couple of old friends.

My 4th of July was great. I got to spend time with my wife and son. We enjoyed a round of putt-putt. We did yard work. We watched the fireworks. Good times.
I understand "the Alpha Male" Zach Avery returned to the squared circle last night in Chillicothe Ohio. I hope that went well for him. My time as "The Fraternity" with Zach was unquestionably the most enjoyable part of my wrestling career. I wish him the best of luck.
I would like to climb back in the ring. I would like to tear it up and have high quality fun matches again. I want to have meaningful matches. I do not want to climb in the ring just for the sake of climbing in the ring. At this stage of the game, I don't know that is very realistic.
I watched "ECW: One Night Stand" last night. Tremendous. Awesome. Fantastic. It was clear that many of the participants have lost a step in the past 4 or 5 years. But, it was amazing to see the raw emotion and passion displayed.

The truth is I was busy coaching wrestling in January. I elected not to post a schedule. This is the first time in the past 14 or 16 months that I have had NO coaching obligations.
