UPDATE - I finished the Freddie Blassie book over last weekend. I recommend the book to anyone who is a wrestling fan.
The story is less entertaining than either of Mick Foley's books. But, Foley is Good. Get it? Ahhh... Anyway, Freddie's story is good.
I would rate it as more interesting than Piper's book or (Tommy Billington) Dynamite Kid's book.

I had a pretty good weekend. My weekend was capped off by a football scrimmage on Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday, I made a trip to the local cinema. We watched Bruce Almighty. It was a cute film.
Finding Nemo was equally cute.
Last weekend, our family was shut out of 4 sold out showings on Saturday before finally getting in on Sunday morning.
My 4 year old son was in awe through out Finding Nemo. I never get sick of (knock on wood) 3D animated movies.
In wrestling related news, Shank Dorsey decided to once again take shots at me.
I won't even dignify his comments with a response. His column says a lot more about who he is and what kind of person he is than anything I could write.

On Monday, Freddie Blassie passed away. Freddie made a name for himself in the Golden Era of wrestling.

Therapy is going well. I have regained most of my flexibility. I am have jogged on a treadmill. I ran 3.1 miles. I sprinted several 40 yards intervals. My hamstring feels good.
As good as things are going it is important for me to stay focused on a full recovery. As it stands, the strength in my right (torn hamstring) leg has a long way to go. I only have about 75% of my strength. I have been told that it may take 3 months to get back to full strength.
I practiced for the first time in more than a month yesterday. It was also the first helmet and pads practice of the season. Yesterday served as a good test for my leg. I sprinted on routes. I made all of my cuts. Everything feels good right now.
