The IWA will be holding a special tribute card in Springfield Ohio on April 9th.
The IWA will pay tribute to "Manager of Champions" Wimpy Watson. Wimpy is gone but not forgotten.
Our family vacation to Snoeshow Mt. West Virginia was excellent. My wife is an expert skier. Mini-Omega is rapidly progressing.
Mini-Omega (6-years-old) attempted a black diamond (most challenging run) with moguls. The run scared me. I would not even attempt it.
Mini-Omega fell about 5-times but finished the run with a smile on his face.
I had a boost of confidence. I attempted to weave in-and-out of the trees and get some air off of a small jump. I increased my speed. I made it to the jump. I lept into the air. I forgot to keep my tips up. I face planted hard and fast. My skiis and poles scattered as I rolled.
Mini-Omega slowly passed me while proclaiming, "Yard Sale!"

Faberville is headed to the big screen!
Cyrus vs. The Alien Mutant (from outer space) is set to appear in the "Look at My Shorts 2 Film Festival" Saturday April 9th 3:00 PM at Studio 35 in Columbus Ohio.
Admission to the festival is FREE. Studio 35 serves alcohol. What else can you ask for?
I feel very blessed to have my short film hitting the big screen. Faberville has been in existance for less than 1 year. We have NO film industry connections. This will be Faberville's 3rd trip to the big screen since December.
Cyrus Poe and I set out to have fun and tell interesting stories. We bounce ideas back and forth. We try to make each other laugh. Cyrus does the pre-production work to make Faberville a reality. We share production work fairly evenly. Then, I take helm in the post production phase. As a result, I end up receiving all of the credit when Faberville looks good. Cyrus deserves just as much credit as me. Cyrus will get his chance to shine on April 9th.
As regular visitors to this web site know, I keep an insanely busy schedule. On Saturday April 9th, I will be serving as offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Sizzle in Nashville, Tennesse. April 9th will be our final preseason game. It will be our final chance to work out the kinks. Which reminds me...

I am happy to say that I will be volunteering a few hours of my time this weekend to support a good cause. I am always happy to volunteer my time for the yutes.
2005.03.02 - I coached 20 out of 28 days in February. As of this moment, I am only scheduled to coach 13 days this month.
Mini-Omega is finished with wrestling. He placed 4th at the Championship tournament. I am very proud of him. I was chatting with director of Mini-Omega's wrestling program and he made a comment that stuck with me. He said, "I see him every week. I have to stop and really remind myself that he is only 5-years-old." (He turned 6 this weekend) Mini-Omega is nearly twice the size of some of his teammates. He has wrestled and defeated at least two 8-year-olds that have 3-years of training. He is a beast.
We are planning a short vacation this month. We are taking a 4 ski trip. It will be nice to get away for a few days before the NWFA regular season starts.
