Happy Halloween!

Tonight, the family goes trick-or-treating dressed as members of the Justice League. My wife will dress as Wonder Woman. My son will dress as Batman. I will dress as Superman. "Trick or Treat" only lasts from 6 - 7:30 PM.
When I was kid (old man telling stories), I think we stayed out for 3 + hours gathering candy. Todays' youth are getting the short end of the stick.

Tomorrow at 2 PM Mini-Omega and the Rams host a 1st round playoff game. The Rams finished the regular season 8-0. Tomorrow's opponent finished the regular season 7-1. It should be a slobber-knocker!

Gut wrenching weekend
MLB: Indians lose 3 straight games and miss the playoffs.
NFL: Cleveland Browns (bye week)
NCAA: Ohio Bobcats (bye week)
High School: (varsity) Rams vs. Trojans
Lost a heartbreaker on the road 7-0.
High School: (jv) Rams vs. Trojans
INT returned 85 yards for a TD as clock expires to lose 26-12.
PeeWee: Rams vs. Wildcats
Surreal. My 6-year-old son played against my former team. I played for the Wildcats 20-years ago. It was surreal to see my son play on the same field that I played on 20 years. As a kid, I was the starting (right) cornerback and backup halfback. Mini-Omega is the starting (right) cornerback and backup fullback for his team. That never really occurred to me until this past weekend. The Rams were victorious.
My wife spent a week in New Orleans as a volunteer for the LA SPCA (society for protection against cruelty to animals) and the (humane society) HSUS. She volunteered as part of the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. Click here to see some photos from her time in New Orleans.
