I have not been spending much time online. It just has not fit in my schedule. The boy and I went to see the
"Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movie. The boy has read all of the books and was anxiously awaiting this movies debut. Well, the movie is bad. It was tough for us to watch. The main character is an unsympathetic jerk for most of the movie.
We rented
The Blindside. Good movie. A little long. At some points, it is tough to follow the timeline. Nonetheless, it made for a good evening of entertainment. The kids are on spring break.
I think we are going to see
How to Train Your Dragon. 3D animation + kids = 2 hours of bliss. I saw a preview for a movie that looks really good -
Letters to God. It comes out in early April, I hope to see it in theaters.
I finished reading
The Winners Manual. It is a great book. Next on the list, I read
Season of Life. This is a great book and a fast read. I finished the book in two days time. I am currently reading
The Long Snapper.
Spring break for me is over. I am headed into the home stretch on my Masters degree. Lord willing, I will finish later this year.
I am now officially in my mid-30's. I hate snow. There is no way around it. I am getting old and, like it or not, the boy is growing up. I hate winter.
We have essentially been snowed in for the past month. I hate snow. We have had 8 snow days in the past few weeks. Both my wife and I have gotten stuck in snow drifts and been pulled out/dug out by tractors. I hate winter. As such, the video to the right celebrates Global Warming in all of its glory.
Folks like actor Danny Glover are quick to blame the earthquake in Haiti and Chile on Global Warming. I hate snow. He may have a point. There have never been earthquakes recorded on Earth until the 1940's when the evil United States really, truly industrialized. I hate winter.
I really hate snow. I could go for some global warming right now. Have I mentioned that I hate winter?
