Mini-Mattis and the Wee Rams are sitting at 3-0 on the season headed into Saturday's road game at Beavercreek.
Mini-Mattis caught the game winning pass (2 pt conversion) in the Rams game 2 weeks ago.

This past week, Mini-Mattis had a diving catch in the end zone for another successful 2 point conversion.
He has been fortunate enough to reach the end zone in all 3 regular season games as well as the preseason game.
I am extremely proud of the way he is developing. He has heart. He has a motor that does not quit.
In wrestling news, my knee and back have prevented me from wrestling in September.
Physically, I do not recover from injury the way I did 10-years ago. It has been a slow and difficult process.
I *hope* to return to wrestling action in October. But, at this point... it is far from a lock.

2007.09.05
It is Wednesday. The alarm clock goes off at 4:45 am. I curse under my breath - brush my teeth - and blindly grab shorts and a t-shirt. I throw on a pair of flipflops and head to the gym. Thankfully, the gym is 100 feet from my house.
I turn on a couple of fans. I turn on the stereo. I try to get moving. Headlights appear in the driveway. Perhaps a knife-wielding maniac has come to end my existance? Then, I realize it is 5:05 AM. The knife-wielding maniac union has strict AM guidelines. It turns out the headlights belong to my lifting buddies.
Wednesday is chest day. We refer to this as
Shawn Day.
Shawn is one of those guys who has a 50 inch chest and 12 inch arms. He can lift massive amounts of weight and it only has to move about 3 inches.
Anyway, I am tired. Football season is all consuming.
