The photo at the top of the screen was taken somewhere between German Village and the Short North in (adult kickball league playoff game) Columbus, Ohio. Some local wrestling fans may remember the "Pledge" from his brief stint with "The Fraternity". The "Pledge" and his team are a mere two victories away from being crowned the central Ohio kickball champions... Seriously... I am not making this up.

The "Pledge" refused to get involved in the Mark Mattis vs. Slammin' Sammy Simpleton match at last years Gym Wars finale. He was afraid that it would be too... unmasculine. But, wearing short-shorts and headband while other grown men thrust balls at your crotch is "cool".

Time waits for no man. I realize that more and more every day. Mini-Omega started first grade on Tuesday. He is riding the bus for the first time. He is handling it like a pro. Mini-Omega has been begging to go bowling for months now. I have no idea why. Neither my wife nor I are bowlers. We "celebrated" the conclusion of his first day of school by going bowling.

My goal was to break 100. Sadly, I failed.

The high school football season is keeping me busy. I have football practice/game/video no less than 6-days per week until the end of October. I will probably relax and do very few extra-curricular events in November and December.
