Yesterday, I followed up with a knee specialist. He has looked at my MRI. It was a mixed bag. He does not want to do surgery right now. The downside is he thinks my knee is in bad enough condition that I should eliminate squats and lunges from my leg workouts. Bummer.
The boy (age 9) will be running in the Gridiron Gallop 5K this Saturday morning. This will be his third time running this race. His goal this year is to be under 28:00 minutes.

Baseball season is upon us. MO (Mini-Omega) has moved up to the "minors". After 1 year at the coach pitch level, he will now be facing other 9, 10, and 11-year-olds. This should be fun.
Tomorrow morning, MO will run a 10 K (6.2 miles). His stated goal is to do it under and hour. I don't care if it takes more than hour. Seriously, how many 9-year-olds get up on a Saturday morning when it is 40° F and run 6-miles?

April Fool's Day is upon us! Oh no... Don't believe anything you read or see today.
To the right is part of MO's (Mini-Omega) winter time workout. Last night, he did a sport conditioning class down the road. This morning at 6:00 am, he rolled out of bed and hit the weights.
Sprng quarter classes started yesterday. I am taking two classes again this quarter as I work toward my Masters degree.
