On Saturday, MO (Mini-Omega) ran in the Gridiron Gallop for the third consecutive year. His goal was to finish in under 28-minutes this year. In a recent practice run, he finished in 28:11. MO did not meet his goal. He was understandably disappointed. Important lessons are to be learned in failure. Chin up.

We watched the Ohio University spring football game. The new Ohio University Athletic Director, Jim Schaus, was on hand. As we sat in the stands watching the game, he approached us and introduced himself. He was a very down to earth guy and very nice. He said he is flying solo now as his wife and family are still in Kansas preparing for the move to Athens. I wish him nothing but success at Ohio University.

Kirby Hocutt did a phenomenal job as the athletic director. He is now in place at the University of Miami in Florida. I am sad to see him go, but Miami is a big name program and a step up in the world.

I am taking some time away from my morning workout routine. Physically my knee, back, and shoulder are in a lot of pain. I need some rest.
