New EXCLUSIVE (*not*) rantings available - here.
I am working on a quasi-wrestling related project with Cyrus Poe. More (hopefully) on that in the next few weeks.

Spoooon!
I miss The Tick cartoon series. *Sigh*
Speaking of cartoons, I miss the Earthworm Jim series as well.
So, I watched an old Bela Lugosi (One Body Too Many) movie as I drove to Cincinnati yesterday. First off, let me say it is NOT safe to watch movies while you drive. Don't ever do it! Second, I was really bored. The movie was decent. It is supposed to be (packaged as) a horror movie.
But, it is flat out hilarious. There are some good one-liners and site gags.

Here is a quick recap:
Football is going ok. The women are working hard. They are finally in full gear. They are finally hitting at full speed. A lot of girls are dinged up right now. On June 26th at 7 PM, the Cincinnati Sizzle will scrimmage the Kentucky Karma at LaSalle High School in Cincinnati. This will be our first real test. We will find out how good... or bad we are. Football season ends in a few more weeks. Free time for me!
I remember a couple years ago teasing "The Other White Meat" Dale Johnson about t-ball. He was at t-ball games 5 nights per week from May until September. He skipped practice sessions. He skipped gym workouts. He skipped wrestling bookings.
My son's first season of t-ball is wrapping up. There have been numerous rain outs. There have been several make up games. Make up games have been rained out. It has been insane. This is *supposed* to be the final week. Free time for me!
On Saturday, my son and I hit the local cineplex and watched "Garfield" the movie. It wasn't great. But, it was so much better than "The Cat in the Hat". Oh yeah, Shrek 2 was awesome.
On Sunday, we watched the Columbus Clippers and Richmond Braves (triple A) baseball game. Following the game, a Braves player, Jason Tyner gave my son one of his bats. My son also got his photo with a Charles Thomas (batting .346 right now) of the Braves. We attended a pizza party with Clippers players. My son had a blast bumping elbows with players for a couple of hours. My son chatted with John Rodriguez, Brad Dawley, Sal Fasano, Dave Parrish, Andy Phillips, Felix Escalona, and Mike Vento among others.
Tonight, we head to "Great American Ballpark". We hope to watch batting practice and possibly see Ken Griffey, Jr. hit homerun number 500.

My son and I continue to take in minor league baseball games on a semi-regular basis. Baseball games offer a rare chance for me to sit and watch something.
This may make me sound like a jerk... but, I don't like to watch life. I don't watch more than an hour or so of TV each week. I don't spend much time on the couch. Why would I want to watch a reality show - when I can be LIVING a real life?
I would rather wrestle than watch wrestling. I would rather play football than watch football. I don't want to watch other people achieve goals. I want to achieve goals of my own.
Inspiration strikes in funny ways. Inspiration strikes at strange times. I like to try many new things. It might be time to try something new. How is that for ambiguous?

How is June?
Congrats to Dale "The Other White Meat" Johnson. He got married. I missed it. I am a bad friend.
Memorial Day was awesome. Family vacation to Washington D.C.. I saw a long lost Yardbird Posse member. We took in the World War II memorial. It was very inspiring to see 80-year-old men in uniform walking around. Their sacrifice was enormous. Hundreds of thousands of men gave their lives for MY freedom.
We took in a Potomac Cannons (Single "A" Cincinnati Reds affiliate) minor league baseball game. My son loaded up on goodies. He had about a dozen players autograph his baseball. We had fun with friends.
This looks to be another crazy month. Football is still going strong. We are supposed to slow things down in late June or early July. Coaching is really taken a toll on me. I am not getting enough sleep. I am not exercising enough. I am not eating right. I feel like a pale-fat-tired-slug.
Shank Dorsey owns the "Best of Antonio Rizzo" collection.
DDK is a lousy kisser.
