In November, citizens voted for change and hope they could believe in. We are 6 months into the Obama administration. We are seeing some signs of hope and change.
We now have loads and loads of czars. You see the great thing about czar's is that they operate with impunity and they are "under the radar" when it comes to making policy. They are accountable to nobody, except the administration.

President Obama has annointed Cass Sunstein to be the Regulatory Czar. In his 2004 book, Animal Rights: Current Debates and New Directions, Sunstein wrote: "I will suggest that animals should be permitted to bring suit, with human beings as their representatives, to prevent violations of current law."
More specifically, he wrote: "Laws designed to protect animals against cruelty and abuse should be amended or interpreted to give a private cause of action against those who violate them, so as to allow private people to supplement the efforts of public prosecutors." (source)
I mean, come on, what kind of heartless person would prevent a pig from sitting in a courtroom sueing the farmer that has violated its rights? We need this guy shaping U.S. law.
Here is some more change we can believe in; John Holdren, Obama's Science Czar believes forced abortions and mass sterilization is needed to save the planet from over population. He said these things and far more in his book, Ecoscience. (source)
I mean, come on, who doesn't think that women should be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not? That is change we can believe in! We need this guy shaping our science agenda.
We also need to be thankful for Carol Browner, the climate czar, who instructed auto industry execs "to put nothing in writing, ever" regarding secret negotiations she orchestrated regarding a deal to increase fuel economy (CAFE) standards. We trust this to be the most transparent administration in history, there is NO reason that they should have to actually write policies down on paper. They will tell us what we need to know. I have HOPE that they will do what is best. (source)
I think one of my favorites has to be Van Jones, the 'Green Jobs Czar'. Van Jones describes himself as a really radical communist. Only a right-wing nut case would see irony in appointing a radical communist to create jobs. I mean, come on, what is wrong with a self-professed radical communist being in charge job creation? Yes we can! (source)
Peter Singer is an excellent choice to be a Czar. Peter Signer believes believes abortion is morally good. But, he goes much further. He has written and defends this statement, "Killing a defective infant is not morally equivalent to killing a person. Sometimes it is not wrong at all." Also, if you are old and get sick... you probably don't want to hear what he has to say. But, come on as long as you are not a baby or elderly person - this guy rocks! (source and source)
I know I have covered this before, but Timothy Geithner, head of the Treasury Department, failed to pay $34,000 in taxes by "accident". There is no better person than him to lead the IRS and make sure everyone has skin in the game. We need this level of ethical honesty monitoring our government finances. YES WE DO! (source)
Oh and for the record, I am sure that, soon to be Supreme Court Justice, Sotomayor really means it when she says she is not a racist. Telling people that Latino's make better decisions that White people is motivational. How could anyone consider raising one race above another to be racist? And denying White firemen promotions based on race was just... umm... well, her hands were tied? She will make great decisions for years to come - YES SHE CAN! And as for her comment that judges make laws. What else would they do? That is just common sense. (source)
The different czars listed are radicals, communists, believe that killing children up to the age of 2 is sometimes a good thing, withholding care from elderly is appropriate, mass sterilizations and forced abortions may be a good thing, and animals suing humans is the right way to go. Health care is the hot topic issue right now. Are these the folks you want to hand your health over to?
This post turned out to be a lot longer than I had originally intended. I was only going to make a quick couple of one-liners and be done with it. However, once I got going, there were things that I simply did not want to leave out. Sadly, even at this length, there is an incredible amount left unsaid.
President Obama is placing radical, marxist, communists in positions of power. President Obama is placing radicals and communists in decision making roles. President Obama said he would fundamentally remake America. We are certainly on the path toward that... President Obama has only been in office for 6 months. This is just a taste of the change that he is bringing to the United States. Is this the change you had hoped for?
