Trillions unaccounted for from Federal Reserve
2009.07.15
The Federal Reserve System (also the Federal Reserve; informally The Fed) is the central banking system of the United States. Created in 1913 by the enactment of the Federal Reserve Act (signed by Woodrow Wilson), it is a quasi-public and quasi-private (government entity with private components) banking system (Wikipedia).

By controlling the amount of money in circulation, the Federal Reserve can make US currency either more or less valuable, thereby influencing the country's economy on a multitude of levels (source).

Okay, now you have a little bit of background on what the Federal Reserve is. The bottomline is that they control the flow of money in the United States. The video on the right is a congressman interviewing the inspector general. The inspector general is in charge of making sure that the Federal Reserve follows the rules.

As the video indicates, the Federal Reserve is missing TRILLIONS of dollars and the inspector general has no idea what is going on. She doesn't know what is going on. She is not looking into it. She may not know what day of the week it is.

As a side note, her annual salary (paid by tax dollars) is well over a one hundred thousand dollars.

Does this bother anyone?
