My summer class schedule is underway. I am only taking 1 class in the first session of summer. There are no tests, no final, and only one 15-minute presentation for the course.

Long time pro-wrestler and WWE backstage hand, Gerarld Brisco has suffered three strokes in recent times and has a hole in his heart. The clips are the right largely come from his NWA days. On top of that, he is supposed to have heart surgery next week. Clearly, Jerry Brisco is not doing well. God bless him. I hope he makes a full recovery.

On a similar note, Japanese pro-wrestler Mitsuharu Misawa passed away this past week. He collapsed during a match and never got up. He was only 46-years old. Misawa founded Pro-Wrestling NOAH after being a huge star for All Japan. A tribute video has been posted here. He was one of the driving forces behind strong style. His work was incredible.

TNA Slammiversary 2009 is this Sunday. I have not been following TNA very closely in some time. The commercials for the PPV look good. TNA certainly has plenty of star power.

My wife completed yet another triathlon last night. She and our 10-year-old son are scheduled for another sprint triathlon this Sunday. I am not doing the race this weekend. I plan to compete in 2 triathlons during early July.
