Global iMPACT is now available on DVD. I just ordered a copy. I don't buy many DVDs any more. What is the point? You watch the movie a half-dozen times and then forget about it for a year or two. Global iMPACT looks good enough to drop some coin. Even if I only watch it once per year, it will be worth it.
This morning was back day at the Omega Training Compound. It was a good workout. We are spending some time trying to correct power clean and hang clean form. The major component that folks are struggling with is the front squat. So, we have been doing front squats on both leg and back day to try and get folks up to speed.
I have not lifted very heavy on hang cleans in many years. This morning, I did 205 pounds. It felt good to pass 200 pounds again. In college, my one rep max on power cleans was 365 pounds. I am sure I will NEVER climb that high again. It would be nice to get my max back close to 300. I think 250 may be a bit more realisitic at this point.
Winter quarter is coming to an end. There is only one week of class left. I have several papers due. I will be in front of the computer quite a bit the next week.
