In recent years, I have become a huge fan of Bob Backlund. I've watched his WWWF matches from the late 1970's and early 1980's. I've watched footage of him from New Japan. Bob Backlund was an amazing mat technician.

I have adopted some small pieces of his style into my own. A promoter has teased me about how much my in ring style has begun to resemble 'Bob Backlund - 1977'. To me, that is a great compliment. Click here for the Offical Bob Backlund biography.
