I am really interested in the potical landscape. President Obama is certainly charismatic. Barack Obama is smooth like Bill Clinton.

My question is - how many people voted for Obama because of his principles? How many people voted for him because what he looks like?

A Howard Stern employee, Sal, went into Harlem to ask people who they were voting for and why. Sal attributed all of McCain's stances to Obama. People did not flinch or miss a beat. If Obama is opposed to stem cell research, so are they. If Obama wants to finish the war in Iraq, so do they. They are happy that Obama selected Sarah Palin as his VP candidate. Seriously.
