A litt bit of everything.

I have not been updating as much lately. The time previously used to update the website is now used to study. As we head down the home stretch, I have an "A" in both of my classes. I got the results from the (graduate level entrance exam) Miller Analogies Test and did well. Wohoo.

I am probably teetering on the brink or someting... but, I am with my twin one and a half year old daughters all day every day. It has become common for them to have an afternoon snack that consists of a protein bar and a protein shake. I don't think their little bodies can handle all of the protein-y goodness, but they love the taste.

Mini-Omega decided to skip the remainder of his wrestling tournaments. He simply could not handle sitting for an hour between each match. If it were up to him, he would wrestle three consecutive matches without any break.

A couple of new folks have joined our OTC (Omega Training Compound) 5:00 am workouts. We now, have two high school football players lifting with us. It is great to have fresh blood on board.

Personally, it is great for me to have a couple young guys in the gym pushing me. Although, rumor has it that following our first leg day together, one of the young men went home and puked. Additionally, this week on chest day, this young man's chest was so fatigued that he was reduced to using only the bar (45 pounds) for flat bench. That is nothing to be ashamed of. He is pushing himself to the point that there is NOTHING left in the tank. That is phenominal. That is what we aim for. Give everything you have got.

We keep a tempo and intensity to our workouts that cannot truly be replicated in a large group settings. You are constantly moving. After our 45-minute session ends, participants are generally drenched in their own sweat and exhausted.

In yet other news, the recent snow, ice, wind storms have been crazy. We lost about half of our roof off of our house and half of the roof off of the gym. What is up with that?
