On Thursday night, in Chillicothe I will square off against Chris Cruit for the second time in as many months. I return to the ring with a purpose. My purpose is simple - knock Chris Cruit unconscious and score the victory.

I could write sentence after sentence and paragraph after paragraph about how I despise Cruit and plan to take his belt. But, I don't hate Chris Cruit. I can't say that I particularly like him. But, I do not hate him.

Thursday night is about reclaiming my place at the head of the table. Last month, Chris Cruit challenged me to show up in Chillicothe and face him. I had only a few days to prepare. I did show up. I did accept his challenge. The resulting match was one that the fans will not soon forget. I walked away with my hand raised. Cruit got to keep his championship.

This month, the TV commercials running in Chillicothe promoting the event are centered on ONE thing - Mark Mattis vs. Chris Cruit in a rematch for the U.S. Championship. Why? Because that will be a must see match up.

This Thursday night, I reclaim my place at the head of the table. This Thursday night, I will punish Chris Cruit in ways that will make his children cry. I will leave Chillicothe as the IWA U.S. Champion.
