"No beer and no TV make Homer... something... something..."

We have a 52" big screen TV with speakers built into the walls for surround sound. We have a pretty nice set up. This morning (Friday) as I was heading out the door, I asked, "When was the last time our TV was on?" My wife paused. She thought for a moment.

size difference? She said, "Our son watched a few minutes of cartoons over the weekend while we were in Washington DC."

My reply, "No. "When was the last time OUR TV was on?"

Another pause.

"I don't know. Did we turn it on last (6/8) Wednesday?" she asked.

"No, I don't think so." I said.

"Well, then I guess it would have probably been a week ago (6/6) Monday." she said.

And such is life...

I am a firm believer that I would rather be actively involved in life than sitting on the couch watching others live. But, this is testing the bounds of my sanity.

The final Sizzle practice is in the books. Tomorrow evening the final game of the Sizzle season will be played. Tomorrow is the end of the road - the last hurrah.

Regardless of tomorrow's result, we will finish the season below the .500 mark. We are all disappointed and frustrated with the way this season has played. This is (obviously) not what any of us wanted.

I need to take a couple of weeks to ponder the future. Do I return to wrestling? Do I focus more time & energy on Faberville? Do I continue coaching? Do I move in an entirely new direction?

Stay tuned.
