The IWA Night of Champions has come and gone. What would any indy card be without a million last minute changes? This was the night of champions. As such, each match was about 20-minutes long. Nobody went down without a fight.

Brady West and the man they call Kage made their IWA debuts. Both guys have been all around the central Ohio scene for the past several years. Brady and I used to be part of FIW's infamous "C" team. It was good to see Brady again.

Another person I haven't seen in forever showed up - Mace Parker. Mace was a tremendous YWA (Youth Wrestling Alliance) talent. He is a very capable worker. He is always a lot of fun to watch. He and Aaron Andrews are both Phenom. If you have seen Aaron and Mace work, you know these kids are awesome.

I watched "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff battle The American Patriot. It was an old school match. It brought back a lot of memories. I remember Ivan Koloff terrorizing the NWA. I remember him introducing Nikita Koloff. I remember their epic battles with Magnum T.A.

My son was bouncing off the walls. He followed Zach Avery everywhere. During Zach's match, my son sat with Bruce "the ref". Bruce did a good job entertaining him. My son finally "tapped" as the main event finished. Ahhh, good times.

I wrestled "The King" Randy Allen in the semi-main-event. I have never wrestled Randy before. We are both "old school" wrestlers. By the time we wrestled, fans had seen... hardcore thumbtack match with 2 guys bleeding all over the place... 3-way-cruiser-TLC-match which featured Aaron Andrews diving off the balcony... more bloodshed in the U.S. title match... a wrestling legend like Ivan Koloff... etc.

When it was all said and done, I took Randy's crown and shoved it straight up his... well, you get the picture. Tomorrow night, Cyrus Poe and I team up in VCW action. If you are near Piqua Ohio - you better come to the event!
