More Random thoughts and poor grammar

2002.04.23

It was a long and painful weekend. There were a few high points and many low points this weekend. Many of the circumstances surrounding the events did not go as planned. On the up side, I gave everything I had in the ring. The matches were crisp and solid. That is not to say the matches could not have been better. Simply, from a technical standpoint the matches were passable. Beyond that... eh.

After a couple days of rest I am finally mentally recharged enough to begin preparing for this weekend. This weekend the IWA returns to Coshocton, Ohio. The last time we were in Coshoction, I defeated Al B. Damm to become the IWA US Champion. I am scheduled to defend the title against Cyrus Poe. Despite the bib-overalls and backward ways, Cyrus is actually a very skilled technical wrestler. Cyrus is much more skilled than he usually gets to display in the course of a typical Poe Boys match. If someone could convince him to shave that nasty beard and get a decent haircut, he would ALMOST be able to join the fraternity. His wardrobe would still need a complete overhaul. He would have to take a few introductory level classes on etiquette and hygiene. Those things aside, he could fit right in with the Fraternity. That is certainly something to ponder.

If you are in the area, I invite you to check out the action.

Lastly, I would like to thank Shank Dorsey helping me earn the cover spot on a wonderful magazine. My question for Shank, when the Orient (OCI) prison closes, were will you go? Will you get new clothes? Or will you continue to wear that sorry-ass-Tazz-wanna-be stuff you have now? How do you like my 'white picket fences' now?
