NEWS & NOTES

Lots of tidbits...

It is nearly Thanksgiving! In case I don't get the chance to update between now and next week, I hope everyone has a safe and happy turkey day. This is a wonderful time of year. It gives us the opportunity to count all of our blessings. This has been a very emotionally and physically draining year. Nonetheless, I have a great deal for which to be thankful.

The website has been on the back burner for the past several weeks. I switched network servers and have been slow to get the site back to a fully operational state. But, I think everything is working again. I made several small changes that most people probably won't even notice. I revamped the biography page and cleaned up the media section.

On to wrestling related news...

My weekly column on WrestlingPlanet covers WWF - MTV "Tough Enough 2" auditions. It is an honor to have my column on display with the likes of Tom Zenk, Jim Duggan, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan", Rena Mero, etc.

I am proud of the match that "Bad" Brad Shultz (IWA US Champion) and I delivered to the fans in Washington C.H., Ohio. Was it a great technical match? No. Was the match filled with incredible highspots? No. Did every fan get emotionally involved in the match? Yes. The match was entertaining. End of story.

Tonight kicks off a series of 4 shows in 3 days. Tonight in Chillicothe, Ohio I square off against long time friend / rival Al B. Damm. Al B. is very popular with the fans in Chillicothe stemming back to an unbelievable TLC match with "The Dragon" Brian Fury. This will be my second trip to The Backstage. I look forward to tonight's encounter.

Tomorrow evening in Springfield, Ohio "The Fraternity" (Zach Avery and I) face "The Riot Squad" (Dr. E-Dog and "Bad" Brad Shultz). This will be my first trip to Springfield. This is a half IWA and half VCW show.

On Saturday the IWA returns to Columbus, Ohio. The IWA will do 2 shows. Belltimes are scheduled for 2 PM and 8 PM. I will wrestle Dr. E-Dog in the first show. The second show will feature a special unification match. My Internet Title vs. Al B. Damm's Cruiserweight Title vs. Brad Shultz's U.S. Title. For more information on any of these shows visit: the IWA website or call the IWA hotline (614 / 470 - 3893 option # 2).

I will be very busy the next few days. Until next time, take care!
