This past weekend saw Mark Mattis and Al B. Damm team up for the very first time to battle "The Orient Express" Shank Dorsey and "The Other White Meat" Dale Johnson. It is always a pleasure to have the "yard-bird posse" together.
The locker room temperature had to be about 110 degrees. Standing in the locker room prior to the show, sweat was literally pouring off of us into a pool on the floor. That aside, it was a good time.
It was a small crowd, but they made up for it be being loud. We went out and blew the roof off of the building. Shank and Dale did not get a warm response. In fact, a "pork chop" chant broke out on a couple of occasions. I am not sure what that was all about?
As usual, you can't take Dale anywhere. After the show, a female fan wanted to help Dale go "straight". I had to be the bad guy and pull a page Marcus Dillon's book and "shut 'er down". That is all I plan to say on that subject. Maybe Shank will comment further.
